Pumkins Down, Elves Up

A few days ago with little warning the shopping centre where I work started putting up the Christmas decorations. This is a huge undertaking. It involves the use of ladders boom cranes, and harnesses as well as many many man hours. From what I understand the entire operation takes at least one month. Now while I comprehend the enormity of the task I find it intrinsically wrong to put up Christmas decoration before Remembrance Day. Now the fat guy doesn’t come till November 27th so maybe we could wait a little later and hold back on the extravaganza that we have put on this holiday.
