Makes Cents

Today July 3rd 2006 we are enjoying the third day of a 1% reduction in the GST tax and people are already moaning & bitching, Fact is Mr. Harper used this tax reduction promise as a main plank in his election platform. We bought it We were so ticked at the liberals that we used our X to elect Stephen.
Today the cry is 1% !!!!! what the heck is 1% gonna give me, and your right if you buy a five hundred camera you will save five dollars ( well a bit more in Quebec as the PST is added after the GST is calculated.
Harper kept his word, and some five months ago we were on this promise like flies on poop. Maybe we could have given this some deeper thought the day he announced this.
We are saying it’s only 1% but if a 1% increase had been announced, a country wide insurrection would have been head lines in every paper from sea to sea.
So take a pill ( hehehehe they are cheaper to buy now) and enjoy your Bar BQ
