Don't Poke me There

Veteran Pillsbury spokesman, Pop-N-Fresh, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection. He was 71. Known to friends as Brown-n-serve. Fresh was an avid gardener and tennis player.
Fresh was buried in one of the largest funeral ceremonies in recent years. Dozens of celebrities turned out including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Aunt Jemima, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Skippy.
The graveside was piled high with flours as longtime friend Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing Fresh as a man who "never knew how much he was kneaded."
Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes - conned by those who buttered him up. Still, even as crusty old man, he was a roll model for millions.
Fresh is survived by his second wife. They have two children and another bun in the oven.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

Since 1950

Today I filed out the papers to receive my pension as of October of this year. Strange as it feels I paid into this fund for over thirty years, so I’m entitled right?
I could have waited another five years, but who knows where I’ll be in five years. I am still able to work and make X per year without penalty.
So to all of you contributing to the fund thank-you, may you get your turn in time. To those already collecting hi friends 

One Ringy Dingy

Last night I suppered with the family of my very best friend (who has since passed) Present were his wife and children, Terry and Wendy. Also there was Terry’s girl friend Nat and Wendy’s friend Dustin.
The meal was fantastic, roast “beast” with all the trimmings and the appropriate beverages, topped by a “to die for” apple crisp.
The thing that stands out in my mind was when we started talking about communication. Terry does not have a land line or a cell phone.
When I asked him how he communicates with the he simply smiled and pointed at Nat.
He is the only person in the world I know who doesn’t “need” a phone.
How on earth does he order pizza ?

In all our SONS

Best news I’ve had in a long time.
Earlier this week the government of Canada announced they were considering changing the words to our National Anthem, O Canada. They wanted to make our Anthem more politically correct. They wanted to replace the word in all our sons commend to….wait I forget what it was, it did however contain the word dost, looked up dost in the dictionary couldn’t find it (crap dictionary)
Today Steve recanted and our National Anthem will remain unchanged, good job too cause the next election I would have remembered the big X.
God bless Canada, and our sons !!!
