A Bookmark

The previous entry was one of the hardest I have ever written. Most times to go from entry to entry isn’t difficult. An opinion to a joke no problem, from news of a death of a baby is another matter.
That being said please accept this blog as a bookmark, a separation for things to come.
Thank-you gentle reader.

…..And Just What do you say ?

There is little sadder then death, unless it’s the death of a baby.
Last night the world as we know it came to a crumbling end for my friend John.
I am sure the baby was under three months old.
Here is an extract of John’s FaceBook message.

Today the news is the most horrible we could have gotten. The results of the MRI and angiogram were not good. Madelyn doesn't have the necessary tissue to build a pulmonary artery. Our surgeon, world renowned for his prowess in this field, doesn't think she'll survive the operations. It would be a miracle to survive one, and she'd need at least three. And she's unable to process all the blood and oxygen she needs on her own.

Our darling baby is not expected to make it very much longer.

Eva , John, words fail

Smartie

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, "This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you."

The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, "Which do you want, son?" The boy takes the quarters and leaves. "What did I tell you?" said the barber. "That kid never learns!"

Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store. "Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?"

The boy licked his cone and replied, "Because the day I take the dollar, the game's over!"

Shoulda Got That Oscar

Hi Guys….

Yesterday I went to Blockbuster ‘cause I wanted to rent the movie Employee of the Month. Three clerks swore they had it ….. three clerks couldn’t find it. I looked around “the wall” where the new releases are displayed and one whole section was filled with the movie Juno. What the heck so off to the desk I went with 2$ discount in hand.

And if I bring it back today, I get 1$ off my next rental !!!!

Great movie, check it out.

Dave not to worry your copy is done.

After many years, a woman's original wedding band had become worn and thin, so she asked her husband to buy her a new ring as her anniversary present. But this time she asked him to buy her one with diamonds.

They went down to the jewellery store to pick one out. As they waited for the clerk, she said to her husband, "My eyes aren't as good as they used to be, so I'd really like diamonds I can see."

Having overheard their conversation, a lady standing nearby remarked, "Sir, it would be cheaper if you bought her glasses."

Water Found on Mars

Stung @ 57

Today I was got good….got well??, any way I was had.
This morning during my regular computer routine a friend of mine who’s name I won’t mention, messaged me on MSN messenger that he and another x co worker had been rehired by Astral.

This was kinnda strange to me as both these guys seldom made the managers “favorite person list” He explained he needed to work and Astral needed his sales skills (which by the way are excellent)

Then I remembered that the most recent regional manager had left, so perhaps the slate was being wiped clean.

Ahhh I thought here was my opportunity to reapply and again work at a job that I really enjoyed.

Then Evans reminded me that it was the 1st of April……

My friend, I have marked April 1,2009 and have started to think on things

Well done my friend…..thanks
