Where did I put that Shovel

Ya know when you wake up in the morning and think you might still be asleep? Such was the case this morning. It was a bit chilly in the living room so I decided to close the window, which I had opened yesterday o change the air. I still hadn’t put ob my glasses and thought It was snowing, IT WAS SNOWING!!
Good heavens man, it’s April 27th, I should be taking my coffee to the park, instead of making an appointment to change my winter tires back over, oh well maybe tomorrow.

You're getting Sleepy. NOT !

Hi, for the past week or so I’ve had some miserable insomnia. I toss and turn, then I turn and toss. I move from end to end of the couch and from couch to bed and then sometimes back to the couch Maybe Im moving around too much lol)
When I finally do get to sleep it lasts for maybe forty minutes and the cycle starts again. Last night I must in a deep sleep cause I had a dream.
I’ve tried getting up and watching some television but to no avail.
My blood pressure I spiking a bit, no wonder I’m not sleeping.
A few mornings I was wide awake by four or five so I got up. At least at five there is some good radio on CJAD
I also had a two day battle with a “gastro” You know the type, two exits no waiting.
Maybe writing about it will help.

Good day readers.
It’s four after four Wednesday morning. Tuesday I was up over twenty-four hours, so at least I got a few hours sleep. For the past week or so I have been battling a spring cold and a touch of food poisoning, actually I think the water in my building is messed up.
Since I last posted I was informed by the Regie des rentes, that I will commence receiving my Quebec pension as of the end of October.
I also am in the process of applying for a Canadian passport, one never knows when one will have to slip away to Plattsburg to get a cigar. It’s quiet a process, first you have to have a birth certificate (in my case a Quebec certificate) which costs about 30$ and takes approximately three weeks to procure, then the passport application & another wait.
Not much else new with me, what’s new with you ?

There is a television series which I believe is it its last series before it will be allotted to syndication
I have never watched one episode of this show and frankly could not care less.
For this weeks show promos they have chosen a music bed of pipes playing Amazing Grace. Amazing Grace has in recent years become the hymn of choice to many as they bid farewell to loved ones. Perhaps because of the line in Amazing Grace, which says “I once was LOST”, clever if you’re in grade five
The producers of Lost could have chosen from a plethora of musical selections, instead they chose Amazing Grace, a pox on you.

and When I Die

There is much being said today about the celebration of life, how when most “go” they want to be remembered for the life they lived, and how the celebration of life should be remembered, such is my case as well BUT as selfish as it may seem I want someone to shed a tear that I am no longer with them, THEN have a glass in my honour.
Have I chosen cremation; I guess I better make up my mind soon, till then???
